Household member ID number explanation

• We need your sponsor's ID number to calculate your combined household family income.
• The combined annual household family income is one of the minimum requirements we need to check for all students applying for the bursary opportunity.
• The ID numbers you submit must be of anybody who is over 18 in your household. The person does not have to be employed.
• Our service provider will use the ID number you submit to check your combined annual family income.

EEA1 Form

• Complete the official Department of Labour template: Download the EEA1 Form
• Fill in electronically — you do not need to print, sign, and scan
• Use your student number in the box labelled “Employee Number”
• Ensure all sections are completed clearly and accurately
• Save as a PDF or Word document that is not password-protected
• Make sure the form is clear, legible, and not cut off in any way

Medical Letter

• Must be issued by a registered medical practitioner, psychologist, or other recognised health professional
• Should clearly confirm the nature of your disability or medical condition
• Must include the practitioner’s name, signature, and practice number
• Should be dated within the last 12 months
• Must be saved as a PDF or scanned document that is not password-protected
• Ensure the letter is clear, legible, and includes all relevant pages (if more than one)
